Different with other brazed plate heat exchanger using for drying compressed air, FEKS BHE for Air Dryers combines heat recovery, evaporator, and moisture separator of the compressed air into one modular (also named “three-in-one” modular) and it possesses certain unique features as below:
①. The number of plates in the separator can be determined by its working load, which is the volume of the compressed air. With no need independent air compression design, the product cost is minimized.
②. The addition of pre-drainage at the heat recovery can lower the power consumption of the evaporator.
③. The connection at the top of the moisture separator can provide part of the cooled dry compressed air to the user, or be used for regular cleaning of the product.
④. The evaporator adopts the asymmetrical runner design (when there is REF phase-change heat transfer) , so as to improve the efficiency of heat exchange and lower the pressure drop of the compressed air.
⑤. Special structural reinforcement design is adopted locally to withstand high temperature change and long cycles of fatigue testing.
