FEKS BHE for Air Dryers is a product customized for refrigeration dryer industry with high heat exchange
efficiency and long service life.
Different with other brazed plate heat exchanger using for drying compressed air, FEKS BHE for Air Dryers combines heat recovery, evaporator, and moisture separator of the compressed air into one modular (also named “three-in-one” modular) and it possesses certain unique features as below:
①. The number of plates in the separator can be determined by its working load, which is the volume of the compressed air. With no need independent air compression design, the product cost is minimized.
②. The addition of pre-drainage at the heat recovery can lower the power consumption of the evaporator.
③. The connection at the top of the moisture separator can provide part of the cooled dry compressed air to the user, or be used for regular cleaning of the product.
④. The evaporator adopts the asymmetrical runner design (when there is REF phase-change heat transfer) , so as to improve the efficiency of heat exchange and lower the pressure drop of the compressed air.
⑤. Special structural reinforcement design is adopted locally to withstand high temperature change and long cycles of fatigue testing.

Flue gas heat recovery

FEKS Y series heat exchanger main purpose is to cool the auxiliary water, secondary flue gas. Compact structure, save energy, reduce maintenance, but will cause the system to get higher water consumption, flue gas dust concentration cannot exceed 30mg/m³.

Gasketed plate-and-frame heat exchangers

The plate heat exchanger is composed of a set of corrugated metal plates with four corner holes for the passage of two heat transfer fluids. The metal plates are installed in a frame with a fixed plate and a movable compression plate on the side, and are clamped by clamping bolts. The plates are equipped with sealing gaskets to seal the fluid channels and guide the fluid to alternately flow into the respective channels to form heat exchange. The fluid flow rate, physical properties, pressure drop and temperature difference determine the number and size of the plates. The corrugated plate not only improves the degree of turbulence, but also forms many supporting points, enough to withstand the pressure difference between the media. The metal plate and the movable compression plate are suspended on the upper guide rod and positioned by the lower guide rod, while the rod end is fixed on the support column, but if one or two liquids pass through the heat exchanger more than once, Then the interface should be opened on the fixed plate and the movable pressing plate.




